Guided Walking Tours: ITINERARY

Day 1

Fly to Ljubljana or Trieste Airport and onward transfer to your accommodation in Mojstrana village followed by a briefing about your trip by our guide.

Day 2

A short hike along Triglavska Bistrica trail passing Peričnik waterfall (52m) and overnight in a mountain hut.

Day 3

We continue along the trail which passes under the spectacular north wall of Triglav Peak to Luknja saddle which provides spectacular views before descending to our overnight accommodation at Koča na Doliču mountain hut.

Day 4

We set out across Hribarice Pass towards the Koča pri Triglavskih Jezerih hut passing several glacial lakes with majestic views to The Triglav Lakes Valle. Overnight at Triglav 7 lakes mountain hut.

Day 5

Descending to Koča pri Savici over Komarca wall. After a short hike to Savica Waterfall we then have an hour's walk through magnificent beech woods towards Lake Bohinj where we follow an easy walking route around the lake. Overnight stay is in Ukanc.

Day 6

We take the cabin lift to Vogel ski resort and continue towards Sija Peak followed by a spectacular walk along the ridge to Vogel Peak (1922m). From here we continue to Globoko Saddle before descending back to Ukanc village for a 2nd night. This part of our trip is truly rewarding and on clear days you will have spectacular views to Mount Triglav and its surrounding peaks.

Day 7

We transfer to Lake Bled and check in to our hotel prior to a relaxing final day including a walk along the wooden walkway to Vintgar Gorge, followed by a short walk back to Bled with options to visit Bled Castle overlooking the lake, or you can take a 'pletna' rowing boat to the island in the lake where you can visit the church of St. Mary. Overnight stay in Bled.

Day 8

Depart after breakfast for transfer to Ljubljana or Trieste Airport and flight home.
