Horseback riding of Iceland ponies and Lipica horses on ranch Mrcina, Studor, Bohinj

In the village of Studor in the heart of Triglav national park we offer horseback riding on Iceland ponies and Lipica horses. We also offer other events, programs and field trips to nature.

For groups we organize field and attractive trips through unspoiled nature of Triglav national park, on the ranch grounds we can organize the following events:

• different parties,
• a show with a magician,
• bow shooting,
• active program Medieval program with knights,
• active program Old Farm chores,
• winter programs like Santa’s sledge, horses pulling skiers (ski joring).

Horseback riding school on ranch Mrcina

The riding school is suited for beginners, which wish to learn the basics of horseback riding, or expert riders, which enjoy a ride in nature, alike. Your young ones are also taken care of with special saddles with handles. They can ride around a lounging pen under the watchful eye of an instructor or can also take a trip in to the surroundings.

How to find us?

There are many ways but they are all marked with signposts. This is the easiest one:

Go towards Bohinj Lake, cross the bridge at the church of St. John, then go straight ahead for about 4 km through the village Stara Fu�ina to the village Studor. The ranch is located at the beginning of the village on the right side. Just follow the signposts. They will bring you directly to the ranch. Welcome!
